Located at the Higher Hotel, Kiulap, tucked away at the back of a corridor unit, the wanderers like you would be thrilled to discover Brunei's hidden gem just waiting to be discovered by you

Although our bookstore is small, the walls have echoed endlessly of laughter by our previous guests who enjoy the coziness, fantastic surprise twists and turns of antiques, and hundreds of books from pre-loved to brand new that are for purchase.

We wish but not for now :(
We are a little bookstore that sells books, host events, and welcome those who wish to rent out our space to celebrate their special moments.

What type of books do you have at the bookstore?
You'll find everything from fantasy titles to contemporary literature, and a whole section on romance, and rare to find books that you couldn't find in Brunei!

How much does it cost per entry to the Honey Bookstore?
The cost for entry is $5 per head with a time limit of ONE (1) HOUR per session. The entry fee is inclusive of complimentary tea and biscuits (upon request).

How can I make the payment for the entry?
You may make the payment at the door either by cash or bank-in to our Baiduri/BIBD account

May I extend my visit to the Honey Bookstore to more than ONE (1) HOUR?
Yes, you may! Should you wish to extend, there will be an additional payment of $30 per hour.

What is the maximum capacity per entry?
The maximum capacity is 6 - 7 people. We will not be able to take in more as our bookstore is very small.

What will I expect when I enter the Honey Bookstore?
You get to marvel at our color-coded books on our antique wooden bookshelves that are #instagramworthy and you can smell the floral-scented candle all lit to fit the mood of our cozy little bookstore. We also serve tea upon request!

May I take photos or videos while I'm there?
With our rows of books that are beautifully color-coded, the rare antiques we've collected during our travels up for display, and the vintage mirrors for you to take #selfies. You better be whipping out your camera to snap pictures!

May I buy the books from the Honey Bookstore?
Yes, you may! All the books are available for purchase. Some are pre-loved and some are very brand new. Feel free to browse through <3

May I read the books from the Honey Bookstore?
Yes, you may! Please ensure you put the books back where it belongs to keep them color-coded!

Are the books at the Honey Bookstore available for rent?
Unfortunately, no :(

They are all books sent by people so they can earn a little extra income for themselves and the commissions would help us to keep running the store. Every book purchase would mean the world to us and our vendors as a way to support us with our business!
