Do you have books gathering dust on your shelves? At The Honey BN, we don't just sell books; we build a community. Our Consignment Program is designed to help you declutter responsibly while supporting literacy programs in Brunei. 

Your books never stop giving

At The Honey BN, every book has a purpose. If a book hasn't found a new home after its 3-month stay with us, it begins a new chapter! We donate unsold titles to local schools and the B:read Book Drive, ensuring they reach eager hands.

Plus, proceeds from these books fund our literacy workshops for children in the Water Village—a mission we've proudly championed since 2021. When you consign with us, you aren't just clearing a shelf; you're building a community

How It Works 

Earnings

Receive 60% of the sale price for every book sold, with payouts at the end of each month. 

Quantity

We accept a minimum of 10 books and a maximum of 20 books per submission.

All book prices are determined by The Honey BN.

Books We Don't Accept

We cannot accept books that have missing pages, covers, or spines coming apart. Any book that is wet, damp, mouldy, or warped due to exposure to water.

Books with extensive doodles, drawings, or heavy annotations/highlighting that obstruct the text or make it difficult to read.

FAQ

How do I start selling my books with you?

Simply head to THEHONEYBN.COM, fill out our consignment form, and upload clear photos of your books. We will review your submission and get back to you within 2–3 working days.

Can I just drop off my books at the shop?

To ensure we have space and that the books meet our criteria, we require an online submission first. Please wait for our approval and contact before bringing your books in!

How much will I earn?

You will receive 60% of the final sale price for every book sold. The remaining 40% covers our shelf space, marketing, and operational costs.

Who decides the price of the books?

Our team determines the pricing based on the book's condition, rarity, and current market demand to ensure it sells within the 3-month window.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts are processed at the end of every month for any of your books sold during that period via BIBD, Baiduri, or TAIB.

What happens if my books don't sell after 3 months?

Unsold books are transitioned into our community program. They are either donated to local schools/B:read or sold to fund our literacy workshops for children in the Water Village.

Can I take my books back before the 3 months are up?

We recommend only consigning books you are ready to part with emotionally, as our system is designed to support the community mission once the books are processed.
